As a mother I know how important it is for parents to know their children are left in capable hands so our Babysitters are qualified and experienced in a childcare profession. They include nannies, childminders, teachers, and nursery nurses. Many are parents themselves. Each Babysitter has their own transport, so you will not be asked to organise or pay for any travel expenses. I ensure all our babysitters have been CRB checked prior to joining the agency, and we hold confirmation of this on file. I personally vet every Babysitter thoroughly. Each Babysitter has a face-to-face interview to establish their suitability, practical knowledge of first aid and experience with children of different ages. I also obtain two written references which I keep on file. This ensures that all our Babysitters are trustworthy and have the required professional experience.

MAKING A BOOKING

1. Phone or e-mail Button Moons with your request. Please confirm dates, start and finish times.

2. We will then match your request with a Babysitter and confirm your booking.

3. Please complete and return the registration form and terms of business below to 6 Coleridge Drive, Whiteley, Hants, PO15 7NN.

ON THE EVENING

1. The Babysitter will contact you in advance to confirm timings and discuss the children’s routine. Please use this as an opportunity to discuss anything you consider relevant. For example, is there a special teddy that comforts your child? Is there a favourite bed time story?

2. Please make sure the children are ready for bed or can get ready for bed independently. Babysitters are not responsible for bathing the children.

3. Please leave the Babysitter your contact details, an emergency contact number, the childrens medical details and the number of your doctor.

4. If you are running late please phone the Babysitter to let them know. Please note you will be charged for the time the Babysitter is at your home.

5. Babysitters can only look after those children registered on your form.
